GREENSBORO, N.C. - Several streets near the International Civil Rights Museum will be closed for 24 hours beginning 2 p.m. Jan. 31 in order to accommodate the grand opening of the museum.

Elm St. and Davie St. between Washington and West Market streets will be closed to vehiclesbeginning 2 p.m. Sunday. February One Pl. will also be closed during the same time period.

One lane of Greene St. between Washington and West Market streets will also be closed.

All streets are expected to reopen around 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1.

City officials advise downtown workers and patrons to consider alternative work and parking schedules for Monday. Area garages, surface lots and street parking will likely by full before 6 a.m. that day.
